Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination of supply orders, and supporting administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in Excel and a strong understanding of logistics processes. Responsibilities: • Coordinate logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate distribution of goods. • Manage supply orders, including tracking inventory levels and placing replenishment requests. • Perform administrative tasks to support the logistics and finance teams. • Utilize enterprise finance software to manage and document logistics-related activities. • Prepare and analyze reports using Excel to monitor logistics performance and identify areas for improvement. • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and resolve operational challenges. • Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and orders. • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm schedules and address any discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all logistics activities. Requirements • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis. • Familiarity with finance enterprise software systems. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with suppliers and team members. • Detail-oriented approach to managing records and tracking shipments. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and resolve operational issues efficiently.
