Job Responsibilities:

Roles and responsibilities

The primary job function of a Logistics Coordinator is to schedule shipments to support customer requirements and prepare shipping documents to correspond to the shipments, including Pick lists, Bills of Lading and ASNs as required. Responsible for supporting safety, quality, and productivity while adhering to KAMTEK’s plant standards and upholding the Magna Employee’s Charter.

Essential Functions

Use ERP System (CMS) as the Primary means of monitoring customer requirements as they relate to shipping schedules to protect the customer from any potential part shortages or production downtime related to material availabilityMonitoring stock levels at the customers to protect against material shortages caused by incorrect customer ordersPrepare all necessary shipping schedules and pick lists based on customer requirements and delivery destination.Communicate and provide loading and shipping direction to dock personnel and Kamtek leadership to ensure timely departure of shipmentsProvide shipping pattern data to Materials team to promote lean inventory levels on all WIP and/or Finished Goods material in accordance to process capabilitiesAnalyze schedule requirements and propose solutions when schedule changes are required to meet customer shipping schedules

Position requirements

The environment is high pressure and requires extreme accuracy and attention to detail Mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions; the Metric and Imperial Measurement System; data analysis and statistical techniques.Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Education/Work experience

High School Diploma or GED required. One to two years of related experience. General knowledge of Production Planning, Inventory Control and ERPAt least 1 year Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required.  Materials Management and Logistics Planning experience preferred.
