Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GEDAt least 3 years related job experience required.Experience in customer service, Shipping & Receiving and/or Order fulfillment all preferredImport/Export experience is requiredExperience handling external customersExperience dealing with Trucking CompaniesUnderstanding BOL (Bill of Lading)SAP experience is requiredAbility to properly interpret shipping paperwork (BOLS, Packing Lists, Customs Paperwork, Trucking Paperwork, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft excel, word, outlook, TEAMS, SAP S4 Hanna, Customer specific portals.

Job Functions:

Responsibilities:

Checks, processes, and clears customers’ orders for shipments.Sorts, arranges, and labels all the goods in the warehouse.Receives and examines all incoming and outgoing goods on behalf of the organization.Wears safety gear as needed in the warehouse.Collaborates with the procurement and sales department of the organization to ensure regular availability of goods.Keeps inventory or record of the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.Band and shrink wrap drums for shipments.When receiving inbound materials must ensure electronic and physical accuracy to maintain proper inventory levels.Communicate with suppliers, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders as needed.Controls both inbound and outbound trucking logistics with security and the area.Assists with area cycle counting.

       

 Additional Job Tasks:

Maintain and ship FedEx packages for entire site.Perform weekly cycle count tasks.Support movement of materials to and from offsite warehouse.Supports local training processes as needed.Supports import and export teams as needed for inbound raw materials or customer shipments leaving the United States
