Logistics Co-ordinator
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Proficient in Emerson shipping tools, Global Trax, SCO (Supply Chain Optimization) & related aspects of JD. Raise the status of sales orders with JDE system from Confirm ship status 542 to 573 status, ready to ship. Arrange all shipments through the Emerson Global Trax shipping software tool. Ensuring goods are shipped to customers against Logistics service levels with customer documentation requirements for Trade & Interco shipments Ensure adherence to formal compliance checks within Trax and harmonize processes across areas to improve operations efficiency and service levels. Liaise with transport contractors and local authorities regarding all shipments  Responsible for all outbound freight including Non-EEC Shipments Arrange day to day dispatch of items using UK and export overnight carriers Handle electronically the filing of all export shipping activities’ recording of documentation within the Emerson export log located within the logistics SharePoint site. Familiar with HM Customs’ procedures, purchase order contracts & Incoterms  Co-ordinate and pre-book all transportation and Import/Export companies for project contracts, ensuring compliance with Emerson requirements Use Emerson contracted & approved carriers where possible and, if additional courier services are required, co-ordinate & record accordingly, quotes, bookings etc. Co-ordinate with Stores the picking, packing and transfer of shipments of spares orders to logistics Liaise with various departments, sales, procurement, planning, value streams on schedules, work order completion & special instructions. Work with other Logistics professionals within the wider Emerson logistics teams where the opportunity arises Familiar with the logistics & compliance share point site, with an understanding of procedures & location of processes.    Who You Are:

  For This Role, You Will Need: Experience in a logistics export/import environment with knowledge of shipping protocols, systems & regulations.  Strong time management, communication, organization & planning skills.  Attention to detail and collaboration skills is essential. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible & working to deadlines   Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: CILT, Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport qualification level 3-5 preferred.
