Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics/Production Clerk to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity where you will play a key role in managing purchase orders, shipping documents, and factory communications to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in production or supply chain environments and a strong ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy. Responsibilities: • Communicate daily with overseas factories to ensure production timelines and requirements are met. • Update and maintain purchase orders (POs) and make necessary revisions to align with operational needs. • Review and process shipping documents, forwarding them to accounting for payment approvals. • Create packing lists for local factories to facilitate efficient logistics. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination on production-related tasks. • Monitor costing updates and provide accurate data to support product development. • Assist in managing production documents and timelines with exceptional attention to detail. • Utilize existing systems for managing logistics while preparing for system transitions. • Support vendor and factory communications to resolve any logistical challenges. • Work closely with the production team to track orders and maintain workflow efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in logistics, production, or supply chain environments. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage production documents accurately. • Proficiency in handling purchase order systems and shipping functions. • Familiarity with costing processes and product development workflows. • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with factories and vendors. • Ability to adapt to system changes and learn new tools as needed. • Prior experience in apparel production or a related field is preferred. • Comfortable working 100% onsite.
