When you are a Logistics Associate at Caterpillar, you will perform a variety of logistic support activities in the areas of logistics planning, materials planning, and packaging analysis and other duties as assigned.* Performs the material handling, kitting or other warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, picking, kitting, packing, marking and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies * Works from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, count parts, fill orders, package parts, etc. * Uses machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, stenciling, etc. * May perform hooking, signaling and spotting duties to assist crane operators or assist others * Performs related and/or specialized clerical duties * Maintains related clerical records * Uses mobile equipment as required to facilitate job functions Required Qualifications * Able to sit or stand for prolonged periods. * Able to perform repetitive operations.
