Job Skills / Requirements

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics & Asset Protection Associate to join our team. This role combines safe and efficient transportation responsibilities with a strong focus on asset protection, loss prevention, and investigative duties. The position will be based out of Runnemede, NJ. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience managing high-value shipments while upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and professionalism.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Transportation & Client Interaction

Safely operate company vehicles to complete assigned routes, pickups, and drop-offsIdentify and escalate any issues or problems encountered during routes. Communicate in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner with clients, and co-workers. Handle all physical requirements for loading, transporting, and unloading, parcels, and merchandise without assistance. Partner with warehouse staff on consignment transfers and client/third-party pickups.


Logistics & Shipment Management

Coordinate high-value (HV) shipments from origin to destination, ensuring proper tracking and oversight. Assist with claims investigation and processing for 3PL, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Investigate shipping discrepancies with warehouse and parcel carriers to resolve issues quickly. Conduct quality inspections on packaging, ensuring compliance with Asset Protection standards. Perform regular cycle counts of high-value goods to ensure accuracy of inventory. Work on exception-based reporting to identify, research, and resolve missing or misallocated products.


Asset Protection & Loss Prevention

Manage and close out inbound and outbound shipment discrepancy cases. Review and audit procedures for handling merchandise, identifying risks and recommending improvements. Take an active role in identifying short/shrink trends and recommending loss reduction solutions. Ensure adherence to all Asset Protection measures and assist in completing tasks assigned by the Asset Protection Leadership Team.


Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately. Ability to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled plastic bins over various surfaces, inclines, stairs, and elevations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated safe and efficient driving skills. Previous experience in logistics,ecommerce, shipping/receiving, or asset protection is highly preferred. Familiarity with claims investigation, loss prevention practices, or exception-based reporting is a plus. High attention to detail, accuracy and accountability in handlign shipments and paperwork.

Education Requirements (All)

High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree from 4 year college/university
Associates Degree
