The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing data, developing processes and procedures, and working to increase the control, efficiency and cost effectiveness of IDT’s logistics program.  

This position reports to the  Sr. Manager, Logistics, is part of the Logistics team located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Analyzing freight and transportation to land and control costs; makes data-driven recommendations

Establishes and maintains key financial and operational metrics

Create and analyze numerical and statistical data, reports and workflows

Drive efforts to implement efficiencies and lean processes within the logistics group as a whole

Work with other groups within and outside of the department to develop policies, processes and standards

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, finance, supply chain, analytics or process-related degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of two years of relevant experience (preferably in the manufacturing or logistics areas or SAP)

Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel and Visio)

Proficiency in logistics or supply chain analysis. Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for financial analysis and reporting

Adaptability to accept responsibility for the direction, control or planning of an activity

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel (up to 20% of the time) is expected.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Previous experience with SAP

Previous experience with Power Pivot preferred

Previous experience with Power BI

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
