**Description** SAIC is seeking a **Logistics Analyst** to provide support for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for multiple programs. **Job Duties:** + Supporting procurements and property management of Government material at SAIC + Source, negotiate and purchase IT Hardware and software, fabricated parts, machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies and incidental services necessary for operation of an organization or program + Interface with vendors to obtain quotes; process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders + Update Excel spreadsheets with relevant information; kitting and tracking inventory; interface with customers to develop procurement requirements and to provide status updates + Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives + Monitor performance of suppliers + Track data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes + Prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience:** + Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; experience in lieu of degree + MS Office proficiency including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word + Detail oriented and organized + Quick learner and proactive + Ability to manage logistical issues **Required Security Clearance:** + Ability to acquire a SECRET government clearance **Desired Experience:** + DoD Experience + Procurement Experience + Ability to work with databases REQNUMBER: 2508131 SAIC is a premier technology integrator, solving our nation's most complex modernization and systems engineering challenges across the defense, space, federal civilian, and intelligence markets.
