Logistics Analyst (12 months)

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Perform configuration and programming set-up to solve issues in Oracle Transportation Management tool. Accurately setting up and maintaining the master data such as locations, corporations, carriers and user accounts requested by internal and external Emerson users within the required time­frame. Interact frequently with system users both internal and external to Emerson to provide user support, trainings and problem resolution. Manage the Program Operations Help Desk and provide daily logistics support globally for Emerson and Non-Emerson users. Conduct Spot Bids for overweight, dimensionally oversized and project cargo freight for Air mode. Run reports and work with service providers to improve the Supply Chain Optimization program metrics for EMEA region.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or any related field Understanding of basic concepts of supply chain, logistics, or transportation terminology and processes. Proficient in English (verbal and written communication skills). 1-2 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain operations or closely related business management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in communicating effectively with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds and in various regions. Ability to multi-task and to adapt to changing circumstances and new systems or processes within a multinational context. Capacity for planning, organization and prioritization. Good interpersonal communication skills;  Familiarity with logistics tools and systems.
