Job Title: Account Specialist

Job Description

The transportation services team is growing rapidly and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who ship with inbound transportation. As innovation within transportation and logistics continues, the team evaluates current network shipper defects and drives improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, the candidate will work directly with shippers to create solutions and take action to improve shipper performance metrics.

ResponsibilitiesMonitor, verify, and present data daily.Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time.Identify transportation defect root causes.Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers.Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers.Conduct Daily Business Review Stand up calls.Essential SkillsTech Savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems and databases.Strong Excel Skills.Account or Vendor Management; previous experience supporting B2B customers.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge in logistics, transportation, sales, and supply chain.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood relationship building skills.Effective organizational skills.Ability to manage disruptions as they occur.Background in supply chain or logistics is preferred.Experience from industries such as party planning, event coordination, real estate, sales, and restaurants.Work Environment

The team works heavily in Outlook, requiring organizational skills with email correspondence. General computer literacy is beneficial, with robust training available to teach Excel. The environment supports career progression and offers a foot in the door with a leading company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
