SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Installs, repairs and maintains all types of locks and locksets.Rekeys locks, maintains accurate record keeping and understands locks/locksets and their functions.Assists in design of master key systems; participates in design and construction meetings as necessary to assist with key designs and standards.
QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintains an adequate inventory of related hardware, parts and other supplies, in order to fill requests and requisitions.Prioritizes work activities and maintains set timelines as necessary to optimize response time on work order trouble tickets (e.g. average time to close tickets).Follows safety standards, policies and procedures established for the department and hospital and conducts all procedures accordingly.Uses tools and equipment to perform the job in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
FINANCE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Completes all assigned work orders and dispatch tickets accurately with appropriate key management/tracking system, within the established guidelines of the department.Uses resources efficiently; does not waste supplies. Self-motivated to independently manage time effectively and prioritize daily tasks, minimizing incidental overtime.
GROWTH/INNOVATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSParticipates in department projects. Assumes responsibility for growth and development by participating in in-services programs and continuing education.Seeks opportunities to expand learning beyond baseline competencies with a focus on continual development as a locksmith.
