What you will be doing 

Responsible for managing and processing the company’s lock and key requirements across all units. Support for Cash and Pharmacy safes. Overall support/recommendation for physical security locks and other locking devices. Reducing costs related to Lockshop services and materials. 

The position will be based in Boise, Idaho 

 

Main responsibilities

Identify and track lock expenses and savings for all Divisions.  Utilize Corrigo to manage work orders and lock expenses and provide quarterly reporting for the Divisions.  Oversee lock and key requirements, maintaining control of confidential codes and code machines for all Albertsons Companies’ facilities nationwide.  Conduct site surveys as required to assess security and locking needs.  Perform locksmith duties with proficiency, including key cutting, core pinning, stamping keys and cores, and installing locking hardware and mechanisms.  Ensure accuracy and timely processing of orders, implementing strict controls and checks.  Provide detailed and accurate invoices when shipping completed orders.  Maintain comprehensive records related to lock and key processing.  Manage Lockshop inventory to support store needs while balancing inventory costs, lead times, and special projects.  Assist in the reconditioning of safes to enhance longevity and performance.  Collaborate with Asset Protection (AP) and other business groups on locksmith-related solutions, secure storage, and safe issues.  Support special projects involving locks and security storage systems.  Program and configure new safes and locking mechanisms as needed.  Support access control locking mechanisms.  Partner with Lock Vendors in each Division to support the stores and Division service-related issues in a cost-effective manner.  Perform additional duties as assigned by the Security Manager. 

 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Comprehensive understanding of Best locking mechanisms and methodology relevant to the company.  Proficiency in Best computer software for developing individual work orders, utilizing both the software and pin configuration sheets.  Experience working in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, etc.).  Strong knowledge of appropriate shipping methods.  Basic computer skills required.  Must successfully pass background investigation, drug testing, and other pre-employment procedures. No criminal convictions (excluding minor traffic violations).  Physically fit and capable of responding to emergencies. Good hearing and eyesight required to identify potential security concerns.
