YOUR ROLE

As Localization Buyer on our team, you will: Direct material procurement. Quoting, selection, and final recommendation of suppliers. Generating savings to meet the target. Generating purchase orders. General sales support.

In your daily job, you will:

Lead supplier negotiations.

Lead the search for savings opportunities and projects.

Analyze materials.

Supply chain analysis.

Analyze economic factors in the industry.

Achieve savings goals.

Location within the region.

Timely supplier selection process.

Change supplier locations.

Change suppliers.

Update multiple reports and presentations (supplier, category, etc.).

Lead initiatives within the category and team.

Conduct workshops with suppliers.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

Completed bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, or a related field

English level advanced

Experience in the automotive industry (harnesses preferred)

3+ years of experience in direct and strategic purchasing

Experience at VAVE

Experience in logistics

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Program management skills
