PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Local Sourcing Manager is responsible for sourcing & negotiation with suppliers for agricultural commodities, Pack, Chemicals, Merchandise materials, and engineering spare parts, etc, taking ownership of implementing strategies and negotiating to acquire the most cost-effective arrangements to minimize cost while sustaining regulatory compliance and aligning with company’s strategies
Local sourcing manager shall establish solid business partnering with stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, to strategically maintain supplier relationships and effectively develop new potential suppliers
He / She is responsible to manage and cultivate strategic opportunities that drive growth and supply security by analysing market trends, establishing key partnerships, and leveraging industry relationships to enhance the company's presence and revenue streams
Through proactive prospecting, negotiation, and collaboration with internal teams, the business development role aims to exploit emerging market trends, maintain sustainable long-term relationships with local suppliers, and expand both organic growth and source new market ventures
RESPONSIBILITY
Analysis local market, develop and implement local sourcing strategies for agricultural commodities, Pack, Chemicals, Merchandise materials, and engineering spare parts, etc. Develop local supplier capability up to global standard Build supplier relationships at multiple levels and influence to deliver on sustainably, innovation and create value for Heineken Drive efficiencies through sourcing, innovation, specifications and processes value analysis Ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply security Collaborate with Heineken Global Procurement (HGP) team to localize and execute global sourcing strategies within Myanmar Maintain alignment with global structure and priorities while adapting to local market dynamics. Partner with cross-functional local teams, including Techno, Planning, Finance, and Marketing, to drive value creation and cost-saving initiatives Actively support the F&F program, ensuring alignment with sustainability and cost-saving goals. Lead and drive sustainability initiatives focused on reducing Scope 3 emissions for Heineken Vietnam within the agricultural supply chain Ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Other Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience, preferably within the FMCG sector Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, agricultural procurement and local sourcingExperience & Knowledge
