PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Local Marketing & Acquisition Specialist (LMAS) drives the growth of individuals, giving through omnichannel marketing initiatives. The role is responsible for planning and implementing sponsor/donor acquisition campaigns, optimizing lead generation and cultivation, and ensuring strong supporter engagement journeys.

By applying data-driven marketing, impactful storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration, the Specialist strengthens World Vision Cambodia’s local fundraising capacity and contributes to sustainable resources that transform children’s lives. The Specialist assists the Senior Local Marketing Manager to develop and adjust marketing strategies to ensure effectiveness and relevance based on donor landscape/market trends.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Strategic Marketing and Planning

Rese Support Senior Manager in developing annual marketing plan and calendar.Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of integrated acquisition campaigns across digital platforms (website, social media, email, SEO content marketing) and offline channels (onground events/booths for public engagement, community, faith-based organizations and international school networks).

II. Full Donor Lifecycle and Campaign Development

Develop donor journey using data, personas and channels.Create donor segmentation and target marketing plans for different donor types; tailor messaging to maximize engagement, conversion and loyalty.Initiate campaign idea and partner with Comms for content development: including emails, landing pages, social media assets, and thank-you materials.

III. Digital Marketing. Lead Generation and Cultivation

Implement audience journeys that guide prospects from awareness to conversion.Manage and optimize lead generation and data management processes.Capture and categorize leads from digital and offline activities, ensure accurate integration into CRM, and build segmented prospect lists for targeted outreach.Design and execute lead nurturing strategies through email marketing, messaging platforms (e.g. Telegram channel), and structured communications.

IV. Data Analysis and Management

Track sponsor/donor behaviour and campaign performance through CRM and analytics tools.Conduct campaign performance monitoring, A/B testing, and data analysis to optimize acquisition tactics.Provide regular insights and reports to management on campaign outcomes and supporter behaviour.

V. Cross Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Business Partners – internal: Comms, Resource Acquisition, Operations, Finance etc; external: agencies, KOLs and production partners.

REQUIREMENTS

University Degree in Marketing, Humanities, International Relations, Development Studies, or its equivalentMinimum 5 years’ experience in marketing/ customer services with a focus on digital marketingAt least 2-3 years of recent significant marketing experience managing digital platforms and campaigns/events.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation tools, digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, social media advertising).Demonstrated ability to coordinate team capacity and manage a diverse range of customers with often competing requestsDemonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Strong project management capabilities with full attention to detail.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills (Khmer and English)The role is based in the Phnom Penh office with occasional travel to Area Programs and Zonal Offices (15-20%)
