Check out this video for more information on our great company! Location Description The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. It has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space spread out over the beautiful property, 9 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining), a luxury spa, and 7 pools including a 65' waterslide. Hotel Website, Instagram, Facebook Overview As a Lobby Concierge, you serves as a welcoming presence and guide for guests, providing exceptional service to ensure their experience at the Arizona Biltmore exceeds expectations. This role requires a proactive and personable individual with in-depth knowledge of the property, events, and amenities to assist guests efficiently and effectively. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties: Warmly welcome all arriving and departing guests. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to make them feel valued. Offer accurate directions to various locations within the property, including restaurants, meeting rooms, event spaces, and recreational areas. Act as a human guide, walking guests to their destinations when necessary. Escort guests to their rooms upon request, providing an overview of room amenities and features. Tag guest luggage for the bell staff, ensuring proper handling and timely delivery. Hand out complimentary water bottles to guests in need of refreshments. Monitor guest areas to offer assistance proactively. Stay updated on all property events, meetings, and social gatherings to provide accurate information to guests. Anticipate guest inquiries regarding event locations, schedules, and purposes. Assist guests with general questions and concerns, providing immediate resolutions or directing them to the appropriate department. Serve as a knowledgeable representative of the Arizona Biltmore, highlighting its history, amenities, and offerings. Monitor the lobby area for cleanliness and functionality, notifying the appropriate teams for maintenance as needed. Assist with crowd management during high-traffic periods. Liaise with other department heads such as housekeeping, laundry, front office, concierge, and food and beverage to ensure smooth integration of all overlapping responsibilities. This is a full-time position, and you must have availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Qualifications EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent preferred EXPERIENCE Previous experience in hospitality or guest services preferred Prior Concierge experience is a plus
