The Loaner Fleet Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the dealership’s fleet of loaner vehicles. This position ensures that all vehicles are properly tracked, rotated, and maintained, while delivering a smooth and professional experience for customers. You’ll work closely with the Used Car Manager to ensure the fleet remains current and compliant, and utilize specialized software to manage logistics and reporting
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage dealership loaner fleetTrack mileage, usage, and service intervals to ensure timely rotation and retirement of vehiclesCoordinate with the Used Car Manager to pull and replace vehicles as neededMaintain accurate records of vehicle VINs, mileage, and service status using spreadsheets and loaner softwareEnsure no vehicles exceed their allowed usage or service thresholdsCheck customers in and out of loaner vehicles, providing keys and completing necessary paperworkPrepare vehicles to meet company standards before each rentalMaintain a clean and organized fleet areaProvide friendly, honest, and professional customer service throughout the rental processSupport dealership operations by ensuring fleet readiness and compliancePerform light accounting and data entry tasks related to fleet tracking and reportingQualificationsExperience in rental operations or loaner vehicle coordinationStrong computer skills, including spreadsheet use (Excel or Google Sheets)Experience with reporting, tracking, and data entryAbility to manage vehicle logistics and scheduling independentlyAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesAll applicants must be authorized to work in the USAAll applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver licensePreferred Qualifications:
