Job Description:At Regions, the Training Specialist administers, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs in connection with management and promotional development, on-the-job training, and employee orientation. This position also maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness.
Primary Responsibilities
Conducts training and continuing education for all associates as assignedFormulates teaching outline and determines instructional methodsAssesses trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of trainingDevelops training curriculum and department training calendarProvides one-on-one coaching/training for associates who need more personalized attentionAttends various projects team meetings responsible for developing new products or planning upgrades to existing productsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experienceOr Associate's degree and five (5) years of related experienceOr High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related experienceSkills and Competencies
Ability to assess training needs and objectivesAbility to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives including training plans, curricula, and methodologyAdvanced knowledge of implementation and facilitation of technical, operational, and/or specialty training events and programsEffective interpersonal and communication skillsTeaching and facilitation skillsThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
This role works closely with our Loan Servicing Team.

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
