Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepare payments for taxes, hazard insurance, Upfront MI, VA Funding Fees, and monthly MI Process borrower payments, adjustments, interest, and escrow collected at closing to the servicing systemImport loans from the origination system and ensure correct boarding Reconcile postings made to the servicing systemReconcile and deposit title and borrower checksReconcile and journal loan sales at month endReconcile principal, interest, and escrow netted by investorReconcile the general ledger Balance and forward funds Work with investors and servicers to ensure that loan transfers are accurate and timelyCreate and reconcile transfer filesMaintain and produce transfer records, documents and filesAssist with projects, audits and other functions as neededConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to work overtimeAbility to travel overnightD.R.
