Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth handling of escrow loans, insurance payments, and related processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in loan processing and escrow operations to further develop their skills. + Efficiently process escrow loans while adhering to regulations and company policies. + Manage insurance premium transactions for flood and homeowners insurance, including issuing checks and processing invoices. + Act as the point of contact for insurance agents and agencies, resolving invoice-related questions and ensuring timely follow-ups. + Organize and sort incoming correspondence, including daily mail handling. + Ensure loan processing activities are accurately documented and maintain well-organized records. + Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries about loans, insurance, and escrow-related matters. + Leverage Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office tools to enhance efficiency in loan processing workflows. + Collaborate with colleagues to complete loan processing tasks with accuracy and within established deadlines. + Monitor regulatory compliance and confirm all processes meet the required standards. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in loan processing, commercial loans or insurance operations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel. • Strong understanding of compliance standards within the banking and loan processing industry. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with agents, customers, and team members. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and tools as needed.
