Loan Processor – Restructuring Team Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Loan Processor to join our dynamic restructuring team. In this critical role, you will ensure loan files comply with investor and regulatory guidelines while assessing credit conditions and helping deliver timely, high-quality loan decisions. Key Responsibilities + Process and evaluate loan applications to ensure all required documentation and conditions are complete and accurate + Pause application processing when credit checks or conditions indicate issues that require resolution + Rework and revise loan files to meet evolving investor standards and credit policies + Ensure compliance with investor requirements, specifically Debt-to-Income (DTI) and Loan-to-Value (LTV) thresholds + Partner with team members to maintain adherence to all federal, state, and investor regulations Required Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of loan processing, loan origination, and investor credit guidelines + Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess borrower qualifications and risk metrics (DTI, LTV, etc.) + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills + Ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment + Excellent communication abilities—both written and verbal + Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mainstream software tools + Sound judgment and critical thinking in a deadline-driven environment + Experience in financial services or the mortgage industry is strongly preferred + Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local lending regulations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
