Job Summary

As an Associate in the Commercial Term Lending Closing team, you play a key role in preparing documents and funding complex Multifamily and Commercial transactions. You ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution, directly impacting our clients and the firm’s reputation. You work within a collaborative environment, leveraging technology and best practices to deliver high-quality results. Your contributions help maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and support the team’s strategic goals.

You will oversee loan funding and documentation processes, working closely with legal and compliance teams to resolve issues. This role provides opportunities to innovate, drive efficiencies, and support the growth of both the team and your career.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and review documents for complex Multifamily and Commercial transactionsManage the loan funding process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursementOversee compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsBalance client needs with firm interests while maintaining controlsPromote a strong risk and control environmentAchieve individual and team objectives and metricsDrive process improvements and operational efficienciesFoster a collaborative and inclusive team cultureCommunicate clear and motivating messages to the teamImplement and maintain quality control measures for loan documentation

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending or related areaStrong understanding of risk management and compliance requirementsProven leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Experience with CTL mortgage funding proceduresFamiliarity with loan documentation systems and technologyAbility to drive process improvementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience collaborating with legal and compliance teamsDemonstrated ability to coach and develop othersKnowledge of quality control and audit processes

Required or Additional Information

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Work schedules will be full-time in office, on a 40-hour per week schedule.This position requires adherence to all firm policies, including Personal Account Dealing (PAD) and Data Loss Prevention policies.The role involves regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders, requiring strong interpersonal skills.
