LNG Business Development Manager (Full Time) - Edmonton, AB
Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Business Development Representative (BDR) to join Linde, the leading provider of industrial gases and related solutions. The BDR will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities ( contracts), building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, and driving revenue growth within assigned territories and / or industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation Prospecting:Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, industry events, and digital channels.Customer Engagement:
Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate gas solutions and services.Market Intelligence:
Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor movements to inform strategy and uncover opportunities.Sales Process Management:
Qualify leads, schedule meetings, deliver sales presentations, and assist in preparing proposals and quotations in coordination with technical and pricing teams.CRM Utilization:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates using the company’s CRM platform.Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and technical support, to ensure successful customer onboarding and satisfaction.Territory Development:
Manage and build a defined territory, meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance metrics.Product Knowledge:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's industrial gases portfolio, including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide, specialty gases, and supply systems.
