LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER – KUILSRIVER, CAPE TOWN – R6000.00

My client is looking for an experienced, honest, reliable, non-smoking, non-drinking live-in housekeeper to be part of their existing staff for their home.  This is a full-time position that includes accommodation and all meals. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH AND AFRIKAANS – THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE!

Candidate Requirements

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain the house. Perform regular deep cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing. Change bed linens and towels as needed. Organise and tidy up living spaces. Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes. Keep the kitchen clean and organised, including washing dishes and maintaining kitchen appliances.Assist with making the family meals.

Requirements:

MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH AND AFRIKAANS – THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE! Min. 5Must not be afraid of large dogs. Minimum 5+ proven years experience working as a housekeeper working full time for a private family, preferably in a large residence or even a hotel setting. Must have good cooking skills. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Discretion and respect for privacy. Physical fitness and stamina for daily cleaning tasks. Flexibility to adapt to the employer's schedule. Must be South African - proof to be provided
