A poultry live hanger's primary responsibility is to place live chickens onto a moving shackle line in a poultry processing plant. This involves picking up chickens by the thighs, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their feet are securely caught on the shackles. The job also requires adhering to animal welfare guidelines, safety protocols, and company policies.
