Overview:
Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a highly experienced Business Litigation Paralegal to join a corporate law firm in Dallas. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong background in commercial litigation who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You'll play a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case intake to trial.

Core Responsibilities

Support attorneys with case management, discovery, and trial preparationDraft and format legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery materialsOrganize and maintain case files, both electronic and physicalManage document production and utilize e-discovery toolsConduct legal and factual research under attorney supervisionPrepare deposition summaries, case chronologies, and trial bindersFile documents with state and federal courts, including e-filingMaintain litigation calendars and track critical deadlinesCommunicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counselProvide in-person support during hearings, depositions, and trialsPerform other duties as needed to support the legal team

Qualifications

10+ years of paralegal experience in business litigation within a law firmOne of the following credentials is strongly preferred:Bachelor's degreeParalegal certificate or Associate's degree in Paralegal StudiesCertified Legal Assistant (CLA) designationExperience with complex case management and high-volume document reviewFamiliarity with trial preparation and courtroom proceduresProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support softwareStrong knowledge of state and federal court rules and proceduresTeam-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWillingness to work additional hours during critical litigation phases
