Description A respected plaintiff personal injury law firm in San Rafael is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with strong pre-litigation experience who can also provide support throughout the litigation process when needed. The ideal candidate is someone who can hit the ground running, manage a high-volume caseload, and work closely with attorneys to move cases efficiently toward resolution. Key Responsibilities: + Draft and prepare demand packages for settlement negotiations. + Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining regular communication. + Manage case files primarily during pre-litigation stages, including gathering records, organizing evidence, and tracking deadlines. + Coordinate with providers to obtain, review, and summarize records. + Maintain litigation calendars and ensure deadlines are met. + Prepare and file legal documents as needed in support of litigation. + Assist with trial preparation, organizing exhibits, and coordinating with experts, witnesses, and investigators. + Handle administrative tasks related to case management to ensure smooth workflow for attorneys. Requirements Qualifications: + 2+ years of recent experience as a paralegal in a plaintiff personal injury law firm, with a strong background in pre-litigation work. + Proven ability to draft demands and negotiate directly with insurance adjusters. + Solid understanding of personal injury procedures, rules, and timelines. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first approach. + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
