Description Outstanding Paralegal Opportunity – Metro East Area (IL) A respected law firm in the Metro East area is seeking a Paralegal to join their team full-time. Position Details: + Location: Metro East area (Illinois side of the St. Louis region) + Schedule: 40 hours/week, fully in-office (no hybrid or remote option) + Compensation: \$30–\$40/hour, depending on experience Key Responsibilities: + Document Preparation: Draft and format pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and other legal documents + Case Management: Organize case files, manage calendars, and track deadlines + Administrative Support: Handle phones, emails, office supplies, travel arrangements, and attorney schedules + Billing & Invoicing: Assist with invoice preparation, track billable hours, and manage client accounts + Legal Technology: Use legal software and databases for research and case tracking + E-Discovery & E-Filing: Support electronic discovery and file documents through court systems + Legal Correspondence: Draft and manage communications with clients, counsel, and other parties Benefits Include: + Competitive salary based on experience + Health insurance + 401(k) plan with employer contribution + Paid time off and holidays Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on civil litigation. • Proficiency in discovery processes and trial preparation. • Familiarity with case management software and its application in legal workflows. • Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court filing requirements. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Paralegal certification or equivalent education preferred.
