Description Robert Half has partner with an exceptional firm that are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join the team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting attorneys through all stages of litigation, from case preparation to trial execution. Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in managing all phases of litigation, including case development, discovery, and trial preparation. • Draft and edit various legal documents such as pleadings, interrogatories, correspondence, and trial-related materials. • File summonses and complaints, ensuring proper service through coordination with vendors. • Prepare and respond to discovery requests while maintaining accuracy and adherence to deadlines. • Schedule depositions and coordinate with witnesses, court staff, and opposing counsel. • Maintain and organize client files, calendars, and provide timely updates on case progress. • Conduct thorough legal research on court rules, procedures, and case law to support litigation efforts. • Assemble trial materials including binders, exhibits, and coordinate with experts or other stakeholders as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in civil litigation. • Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools. • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines. • Strong verbal and written communication abilities. • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and legal teams. • Familiarity with discovery processes, trial preparation, and civil litigation procedures. • Demonstrated ability to adapt in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
