Description We are looking for a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Dallas, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex civil litigation cases, supporting attorneys with trial preparation, discovery processes, and case management tasks. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in legal research, document organization, and the use of case management software to ensure efficient and effective handling of litigation matters. Responsibilities: • Support attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing evidence, drafting legal documents, and managing trial schedules. • Conduct detailed legal research and assist in the preparation of discovery materials. • Manage case files, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurately organized and accessible. • Coordinate responses to subpoenas and other legal requests in compliance with court deadlines. • Utilize case management software to track case progress, deadlines, and related tasks. • Assist in drafting and formatting pleadings, motions, and other court filings. • Facilitate communication with clients, witnesses, and experts involved in litigation. • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with procedural rules and regulations. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all legal matters. • Provide administrative support to attorneys during hearings and depositions. Requirements • Proven experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on civil litigation and trial preparation. • Strong knowledge of discovery processes and legal procedures. • Proficiency in using case management software and eDiscovery tools. • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation standards. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
