Litigation Paralegal - Defense Litigation
Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid: 2 days remote/week)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week with flexible start and end times
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

About the Opportunity:

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a respected defense litigation firm in St. Louis, to identify a Litigation Paralegal to support one of their partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paralegal with strong organizational skills and a background in complex defense litigation-particularly product liability cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct supporton high-stakes, complex product liability matters.

Assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery, document review and production, medical record organization, deposition prep, and motion practice.

Draft pleadings, subpoenas, and correspondence.

Coordinate with experts, clients, and co-counsel.

Maintain and organize case files, ensuring timely and accurate docketing and calendaring.

Support trial preparation as needed (previous trial experience not required).

Track and enter billable hours (minimum requirement: 130 billable hours per month).

Requirements:

3+ years of defense litigation experience required.

Prior experience in product liability and/or complex litigation strongly preferred.

Must have experience billing time in a legal setting.

Exceptional attention to detail, strong written/verbal communication skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Proficiency with litigation support software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Paralegal certificate preferred but not required with relevant experience.
