Litigation Legal Secretary

Requirements:

At least 5 years of legal secretary experience in a law firm, preferably litigation2+ years supporting a billing attorneyLitigation experience does not need to be current - older experience is acceptable if it's substantialE-filing required (state and/or federal)Experience creating tables of contents/authoritiesBilling systems: 3E, iManageMS Office proficiency; typing 60+ wpm with accuracyStrong communication, detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

Draft, edit, and format legal documents and correspondenceCase reports, conflict checks, and file openingsState and federal e-filingBilling support: review/edit proformas, finalize bills, liaise with accountingSchedule depositions, hearings, meetings, and travel arrangementsHandle filing (paper and electronic), scanning, copying, faxingTime entry and reimbursementsProvide administrative support for 4-5 attorneys; back up other secretaries as needed
