National Law firm is seeking a full-time Litigation Legal Practice Assistant in their Jacksonville, FL office. This role will provide a variety of administrative and legal support services. Key responsibilities include preparing and filing legal documents, managing case files, scheduling appointments, and facilitating communication with attorneys and clients, exhibiting commitment to integrity and excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare, edit, and proof briefs, motions, discovery, pleadings, memos, correspondence and other similar documents and reportsPerform complex administrative duties requiring knowledge of legal terminology and legal processesFile briefs, pleadings, and other filings in district/state/federal court as needed.Schedule and coordinate logistics for meetings, travel and depositionsMaintain calendars including court deadlines and appearancesEnter billable time and edit time and pre-bills as neededProcess expense reimbursementsAnswer incoming calls; prepare documents for shipment; and distribute mailOpen and maintain client files, cases files and organizational documentsRespond to inquiries for informationOther responsibilities as needed

Requirements

At least two years of experience as a business litigation legal secretary/assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department environmentAssociate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experienceKnowledge of district, state and federal court and electronic filing proceduresHighly organized, detail-orientated, proactive with a desire to take ownership as a contributing member of the teamStrong verbal and written communication skills 1426212 - KF_1754084850 To Apply for this Job Click Here
