Description We are looking for a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team in Owings Mills, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in civil litigation and be licensed to practice law in Maryland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, with the flexibility to work remotely a couple of days per week once acclimated. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including insurance and commercial disputes. • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs. • Conduct depositions, interviews, and other fact-gathering processes to support case strategy. • Develop and execute litigation strategies that align with client goals. • Present oral arguments and advocate effectively in court proceedings. • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure timely and high-quality legal services. • Maintain compliance with court procedures and filing requirements. • Provide counsel and advice to clients on potential outcomes and case strategies. • Manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • Stay updated on legal trends and changes in relevant practice areas. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience. • Active license to practice law; additional state bar licenses are a plus. • Proven experience with insurance and commercial litigation is highly desirable. • Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills. • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently. • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. • Proficiency in conducting depositions and drafting legal motions. • Commitment to maintaining high standards of client service.
