Lippincott - Strategy Consultant

As a Strategy Consultant at Lippincott, you will play an integral role in solving complex brand challenges for ambitious companies, and bringing them to life through strategy, experience, marketing, and design. You will apply strategic, analytical, and creative thinking in everything you do to tackle transformative initiatives for clients. Get ready to consult globally across industries on a range of branding challenges, including brand positioning, messaging, brand architecture, naming, and marketing and customer strategy.  
 
On any given day, you might be supporting efforts to name a pioneering AI offering, reposition the story of a major airline, or develop a brand campaign for a leading cancer hospital. Here, you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the brightest minds, learn by doing client-facing work, and get hands-on coaching to grow as a creative problem-solver.  
 
What you’ll do:  

Define and decode complex business and creative challenges with your team 

Push the team’s thinking by bringing your point of view to creative brainstorms and client meetings 

Analyze client business dynamics, brand experiences, and the competitive landscape to distill implications for the client’s brand 

Flex your written voice in brand manifestos, creative concepts, and messaging across clients 

Research customer needs and brand perceptions by conducting interviews, focus groups, and online surveys 

Support the development of compelling presentations with clear, persuasive stories and recommendations grounded in qualitative and quantitative insight 

Learn the critical role a well-formed strategy plays to inspire and interconnect brand, marketing, and experience 

Help to manage projects, circulate meeting notes, and track day-to-day priorities to advance the team’s work flows  

 

 

What you bring:  

Equal parts head and heart, applying a blend of rigorous analysis with bold creativity to solve client challenges 

Curiosity about brand trends, news, and the underlying business strategies driving them 

The ability to tell a clear story with a sound argument when writing, preparing slides, or presenting your ideas 

Comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to bring a structured problem-solving approach to open-ended directions or changes in priorities 

Aptitude for conducting multi-source research efficiently, distilling complex information into pointed recommendations for clients 

Detail-orientation, organizational skills, and a methodical approach to work 

A growth mindset, with a restless desire to learn new ways of solving problems and find new capabilities to master  

Receptiveness to diverse perspectives, and the potential to lead and collaborate in team-based settings with clients 

Proficiency in PowerPoint, with proficiency in Excel being a plus 

 

Eligibility: 

Be a college senior receiving your bachelor's degree in spring or summer of 2026 

Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher  

Have unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States

The applicable base pay for this role is $82,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible for performance-based incentives.
