Linux Systems Administrator (MSIC/SCOAA)

Join our team as a Linux Systems Administrator, where you will support and manage a diverse mix of workstations, servers, and high-performance computing (HPC) clusters. We are looking for a skilled professional with a solid foundation in Linux administration and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. This position is fully on-site.

Securely deploy and manage Linux workstations, servers, and HPC clusters. Administer local and remote filesystems efficiently. Automate tasks using shell scripting and Python. Manage security features, including firewalls and SELinux. Work with Ansible for system configuration and automation. Deploy and manage containerized environments using Docker or Podman. Maintain and optimize HPC clusters with tools such as Bright, Slurm, and xCAT. Configure and manage Linux networking and associated services. Ensure adherence to industry best practices, company and agency policies, and regulatory requirements. Create and maintain thorough documentation of plans, system configurations, and operational processes and procedures.
