We are seeking an exceptional Linux System Administrator / DevOps Engineer in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. IGC provides a single place for access to common data, business services and information on material asset visibility and cohesive, integrated data services for the management of supply, distribution, and logistics to the combatant commands, military services, and other federal agencies. Required Skills, and Abilities:
System Administration – Linux (Intermediate to Senior):
Manage and administer Linux systems in a secure environmentPerform on-site SIPR system installations and configurationsExecute and maintain backup, restore, and rollback procedures in coordination with DISACreate and manage cron jobs and automate scheduled tasksHandle packaging/unpacking tar files and perform manual software installationsDevelopment Experience (Intermediate):
Develop and troubleshoot scripts in Bash, Java, and PythonPerform software installations, troubleshoot runtime errors, and engage with developers as necessaryManage and validate keystores during secure deploymentsDatabase / SQL (Intermediate):
Create and run scripts to update stored procedures, tables, and triggersExecute and manage data cleanup scripts and maintenance tasksSupport database deployment automation via install packagesDevOps (Intermediate to Senior):
Develop, maintain, and execute build scriptsIntegrate secure software delivery practicesManage Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and related release documentationVersion Control & Configuration Management:
Experience with Git and ClearCaseCreate and manage branches in ClearCaseEnsure versioning integrity and traceability across software releasesMinimum Clearance: DoD Secret
Desired Qualifications:
