The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance, and implementing modernization processes in legacy tools. Key responsibilities include: - Infrastructure maintenance, including servers running AIX and Linux. Monitoring system health, troubleshooting, backups. Including network-related tasks. - DB2 management. Creation, configuration and maintenance of DB2 instances; ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. - User and access management. Implement user management controls to protect sensitive systems and data. Update and review permissions as needed. - Security and patch management. Stay current with the latest security requirements. Work with a security-oriented approach to plan, test, and implement updates to protect data while maintaining systems stability. - Process modernization. Adopt new workflows and streamline existing ones on legacy environments to improve overall efficiency. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Strong Linux/AIX skills, 5 years experience. * Experience managing DB2 databases. * Proven troubleshooting and proble-solving skills. * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work in a global team and work closely with customers. * Ability to adapt and bring novel ideas and solutions. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Scripting (bash, ksh, perl, python). * Familiarity with automation tools and processes.
