Skills and Requirements Requires 5+ years experience in a technical support environment.  Attainment of one or more IT related security or linux certifications.  Strong working knowledge of Linux and PC/server hardware architecture.  LAN experience with Ethernet technology. (10base2, 10baseT, 100baseT), Protocol experience including TCPIP, IPX/SPX.  Basic scripting/Ansible skills required.  The Systems Engineer Candidate provides technical advice to Oracle personnel.  This position also requires superior customer service skills, which include communication, collaboration, follow-through and proactive problem solving, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction.  The Systems Engineer duties and tasks are standard with some variation.  The ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.  He/She should display understanding of roles, processes, and procedures.
