Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Linux Administrator to handle the storage and backup technology and in constant verbal and written contact with important team members and peers in India and U.S. Summary: In this role, the Linux Administrator will work with senior technology folks, and peers on other operations teams representing Distributed Compute and Storage(DCS) on Incident calls. The Linux Administrator will also be working with teams out of our India offices on day-to-day. As an Operations member of this team, you will continue to evaluate and find opportunities to automate, promote DevOps and EngOps work. You will be leading managing Linux, Unix, Windows operating systems, Hypervisors, Hardware, security compliance patching and responsible for stability of the environment. This is a shift role Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed (10 hours each day) - with occasional expectations to work on other days when coverage may be short.
