This individual will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and KVM-based virtualization environments, including VMs and hypervisors. Ensures system reliability and availability through performance monitoring, proactive issue resolution, and timely application of patches and updates. Manages system security, user access, and permissions, while maintaining thorough documentation of configurations and procedures. Troubleshoots hardware, software, and network issues, and analyzes system logs to prevent failures and support seamless operations. Skills and Requirements -3+ years of experience as a Linux -Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. -Extensive understanding of Linux operating systems (such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Rocky, and Red Hat). -Proficiency in programming languages like Bash, Python, and Perl. -Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible. -Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware and KVM) and San Management and concepts. -Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). -Understanding of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,HTTPS, LDAP,SNTP and SNMP). -Linux Certifications (RHCT,RHCE and LPIC) -Knowledge of Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers (e.g., R760XD2) null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
