We are currently looking to recruit a Link Box Cell Operative for our Components department at our site on Wrexham Industrial Estate.
This role will be working on a two-shift pattern. The Link Box Operative role will require the successful candidate to build, test, and pack product following standard operating procedures (full training provided); in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that attention to detail is maintained at all times to produce high-quality products. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to continual improvement in Safety, Quality, and Productivity in all areas of manufacturing. The suitable candidate will be able to co-ordinate all aspects of production.
Some of the tasks the successful candidate will be responsible for include:
• Setting up to manufacture including understanding production schedules and working to standard operating procedures
• Performing end-of-line electrical tests
• Mixing chemical compounds following instructions
• Completion of production documentation
• Assembly of product from start to finish
• SAP routines within the cell
• The ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to work to targeted production schedules
• Commitment to flexible working and continuous improvement
• Flexible approach to support other areas of the business on a permanent or temporary basis if required
• Ability to cross-skill and learn additional processes and equipment, including packaging equipment and material handling, as appropriate by duty and area
• Working safely, within specified training and risk assessments, while supporting a culture of Zero Harm through your behaviour
The successful applicant will ideally have:
• Previous experience of working in a factory environment
• Perfect timekeeping and attendance records
• Enthusiasm and high motivation
• Strong safety ethic and personal safety record
• A high level of drive, energy, and commitment
• A positive attitude, prepared to take initiative and make decisions that support operational targets
