Job Overview:

Clean and unload delivery of clean linen onto shelves in clean linen room

Qualifications:

Required:

Must meet 50 lbs frequent lift and/ or carry requirementMust be able to communicate in EnglishMust have experience washing linensMust be able to climb a 5 foot level ladder without assistance

Preferred:

Must have experience with washing and drying linen

Scheduling Requirements:

Full Time - EveningRotating weekends and holidays

Essential Functions:

Maintain a neat and clean appearance in EVS uniform dailyFollow schedule for days of work- along with assigned lunch and breaksUnload delivery of clean linen onto shelves in clean linen roomReadily restocks and delivers clean linen to all parts of the hospitalProperly contains and collects soiled linen thought the hospitalProperly stages dirty linen bins for pickupKeep linen area neat and sterile at all timesWear PPE as/ when requiredProperly setup and take down TruD sterile RobotTake down/ replace curtains as neededCommunicate Professionally to resolving incoming and out going linen request via phone from nursing staff & department directorsAssist with retrieval of beds and supplies needed on demandPreform trained Environmentalist duties when coverage is requiredUse cleaning/ sterile products to exact training methodComply with OSHA & NJ Hospital cleaning guidelinesFollow daily and weekly cleaning scheduleUpkeep for department linen logs/ requestMaintenance and upkeep of all equipment used by EVS departmentAssist in the setting up and breaking down of all special functions both internal and externalBe kind and courteous to patients and staff when entering their spaces
