**Schedule:** Full Time
**Shift** : Night 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Tuesday - Saturday. Must be open.
**Location:** The position will be between South Orlando and Mineola. Must be open to both locations.
**The community you'll be caring for:** Orlando South and Mineola
**The role you'll contribute:**
+ Develops monthly staffing schedule and ensures coverage for vacations, sickness and holidays. Mobilizes personnel as necessary to achieve expected productivity. Monitors time and attendance. Accomplishes work results by establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results.
+ Conducts interviews through the hiring process, performs employee evaluations as scheduled as well as new hire orientations and training under the guidance of their manager.
+ Monitors multiple shifts and must be flexible to work hours and/or days necessary to meet the needs for the shift as required. Provides on-call support as needed via cell phone or e-mail on weekends and holidays.
+ Ensures linen inventories are completed daily at each hospital and daily linen orders are completed and submitted. Meets with clinical staff as needed to determine linen requirements and addresses issues related to linen material, services and line loss.
Qualifications
**What You Will Need:**
+ 3 experience in either Laundry or Central Sterile Supply
+ Drivers License Class E and driving record in accordance with the organization's policy
+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
+ Basic computer skills to include MS Office and Outlook
+ Knowledge of linen processing procedures and linen sterilization
+ Ability to work with people of various backgrounds
**Job Summary:**
The Linen Services Specialist Supervisor supervises and coordinates all activities within the department. The Supervisor maintains clear communication with other departments to understand, plan and execute linen delivery and soiled linen pick up on a daily basis. The position is responsible for creating the team member monthly schedule and mobilizing personnel necessary to control overtime. Due to the significance of this role, the Linen Service Specialist Supervisor must ensure that each member of the team clearly understands and follows policies, procedures and work instructions established for the department. Must engage with the employees and encourage an atmosphere of trust and respect. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
