ObjectiveThe line service supervisor is responsible for leading the line service team by providing efficient service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures and proper ground handling of aircraft as well as communicating effectively with customers, pilots, and team members within the customer service department.
Responsibilities and Duties1. Supervise the line service shift prioritizing, assigning and monitoring work2. Conduct performance evaluations; provide training, assist in hiring decisions, and ensure safety standards3. Aircraft Movement, Placement, Fueling, and Storage4. Fuel - Movement. Quality Control, Disposal, and Paperwork5. Facility Maintenance and Upkeep6. Customer Service, Promotion of Services7. Monthly Crew Meetings8. Annual Re-Current Training

Competencies1. Must have held line service technician position for minimum 2 years2. Customer focus-naturally outgoing/extroverted3. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (Requires clean driving record)4. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Products5. Basic mathematical knowledge6. Bi-linqual preferred
Reporting RelationshipThis position reports to the Line Service Manager
Work EnvironmentThis position works outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:1. Must be able to lift 75 pounds2. Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery3. Outside work in all types of weather conditions.
Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a non-exempt position.This position includes shift work which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.
TravelNo travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience1. Customer service experience in the service industry preferred2. Prior aircraft ground handling experience required3. High School DiplomaAdditional Eligibility Qualifications1. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays2. Acceptable driving record3. Ability to pass a background check
