**Key Responsibilities:**
Lead a group of associates in order to meet company-manufacturing goals. Participates in the day-to-day operations with responsibilities for manufacture products at minimum costs consistent with quality specifications and production schedules.
Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
+ Lead and drive an assigned group of people ensuring efficient use of equipment, personnel and materials.
+ Identify, analyze and implement alternatives to improve product quality.
+ Lead non-conformances investigation upon resolution.
+ Drive and facilitate employee involvement to meet Quality and Compliance requirements.
+ Monitors lines performance and work operations.
+ Communicate operations status and issues to people involved in the manufacturing performance.
+ Facilitate communication to associates.
+ Improve efficiency of associates to meet targets.
+ Praise employees to promote a recognition environment.
+ Maintain safe practices in the use of machinery and equipment.
+ Evaluate associates twice a year.
+ Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
+ Ensure continuous improvement of operational processes.
**Qualifications**
**Education:** A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; Focus degree in Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related field is preferred.
**Experience and Skills:**
**Required:**
+ Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional work experience
+ Must have availability to work in a 3rd, 2nd and 1st shift
+ Advanced digital literacy and use of software application(s) including MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
+ Availability and flexibility to work in any of the three shifts is required. May require working / visiting all three shifts of the operation, working overtime and irregular hours.
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to continuously stand and walk long distances.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with a focus on outstanding leadership ability.
+ Position requires leadership skills in associate involvement and teamwork, initiative, creativity, assertiveness, attention to detail, and effective interpersonal skills.
**Preferred:**
+ Experience in process engineering, automation engineering, supervision or similar role
+ Planning, scheduling, progress measurement and negotiation skills.
+ Must be and agile learner who can lead change and work under pressure achieving consistently high results in quality, efficiency, and compliance through individual and team efforts.
+ Six Sigma or Lean certifications
**Other:**
+ This role may require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel
+ Strong verbal and written English and Spanish skills
