Line Cook - Seasonal

Position: Seasonal Line Cook (Part-Time) – Contract (May 1, 2025 – September 1, 2025)

Facility: Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada        Reports to: Manager of Food Services  

Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Food Services, the Line Cook is responsible for food preparation and set up of line stations supporting Ripley’s Café. The Cook will also oversee kitchen clean-up and work in compliance with the provisions of the OHSA and WHMIS regulations. 

Please remember that due to the nature of our business, we work when others play in an attraction that is open 365 days of the year! You will be expected to be regularly available to work any shift during, before or after these hours of operation.

Critical Accountabilities:

Overseeing food inventory by monitoring proper food temperatures, rotating and storing food properlyPrepare and cook meals for our GuestsPutting away dry and produce deliveries Ensure kitchen areas are constantly cleanFollow and comply with all provincial regulations

Special Skills and Requirements:

Must be able to work a flexible scheduleAdaptable individual with capability to multitaskMust be physically able to lift and transfer heavy items Requires stand for majority of shiftMust possess Food Handler’s CertificateExperience working with various food productsExcellent communication skills
