Emmy Squared Durham is looking for experienced and passionate Line Cooks to join our growing team in Durham, NC! As part of the Pizza Loves Emily Restaurant Group, Emmy Squared has over 20 locations across New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville, and more. We are an upscale casual full-service restaurant known for our award-winning Detroit-style pizza and incredible burgers.

Line Cook Responsibilities:

Prepare menu items according to recipes and company standardsEnsure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishesMaintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with all health department regulationsProperly store and label food itemsCommunicate effectively with team members and managementOperate kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyReport any equipment issues or maintenance needsKeep your workstation clean, organized, and ready for serviceSupport the overall success of the kitchen and restaurant

Line Cook Qualifications:

1+ year of experience as a line cook in a full-service kitchenA true passion for food and hospitality – pizza experience is a plus!Solid knowledge of modern cooking techniquesStrong work ethic and ability to multitask in a high-volume kitchenExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to lift up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs, and stand for long periodsComfortable with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reachingAbility to use kitchen tools and equipment safely and effectively
