Join our dynamic and results-driven East Market team! This market encompasses the Carolinas, Mid-Atlantic Region, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New England, Long Island and Upstate New York, presenting unique opportunities and challenges. **In this position...**
You will be a critical Role Model and Changemaker for Lincoln in the East Market. Your primary focus will be to partner closely with our Lincoln retailers throughout your assigned territory, empowering them to deliver an exceptional ownership experience that drives client retention, advocacy, and business growth. You'll foster engagement by contributing to a culture of inclusiveness within your territory and execute key strategic initiatives that elevate both retailer performance and Lincoln's brand perception. This isn't just about monitoring data; it's about consulting, coaching, and collaborating to achieve tangible results and delight our clients.
**What you'll do...**
This is a multifaceted role where you'll leverage your expertise to significantly impact Lincoln's success in the East Market. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Driving Retailer Performance & Growth:
+ Consult with retailers to identify and implement strategies to significantly grow Parts & Service business, focusing on underperforming locations while also pushing high-performing stores to new levels.
+ Develop opportunities to raise the bar and achieve ambitious performance objectives with your assigned retailers.
+ Analyze retailer traffic and parts sales data to consult on effective execution of capacity initiatives and the successful launch of new service product offerings like Mobile Service.
+ Champion Ownership sales and marketing programs; be the subject matter expert for Lincoln retailers.
+ Champion Lincoln Connected Service Leads and consult with retailers to establish proactive processes that ensure seamless service experiences for Lincoln clients, leading to successful modem lead conversions.
+ Consult with Lincoln retailers regarding effective implementation of programs and advertising/merchandising strategies.
+ Drive retailer enrollment and participation in targeted Lincoln initiatives including Lincoln Commitment Program (LCP), Pickup & Delivery (PDL), and Mobile Service (MS), ensuring program goals are met.
+ Consult with retailers on improving parts department inventory management to enhance efficiency and profitability.
+ Support retailers in achieving and maintaining critical technical and non-technical training certifications.
+ Analyze retailer F&I performance data to identify growth opportunities, specifically for Lincoln Protect Repair and Maintenance Contract Sales, contributing to both retailer profitability and client peace of mind.
2. Elevating the Client Experience & Advocacy:
+ Consult with retailers on effectively communicating Lincoln ownership benefits, resources, and product features (like the Lincoln Way App, MS, PDL) to new clients, leveraging these tools to increase client retention.
+ Support Ford Customer Service Department new product launches by consulting with retailers on client handling best practices and facilitating early quality feedback processes.
+ Work closely with retailers to analyze Net Promoter Score (NPS) data, developing actionable plans to improve client advocacy for the Lincoln Brand and their specific store.
+ Consult with retailers on achieving and maintaining compliance with the Lincoln Commitment Program standards.
+ Provide guidance to retailers on managing Lincoln Loyalty Program budgets and making effective decisions for client engagement.
+ Act as a direct point of contact for clients as needed, assisting with special handling requests from Consumer Affairs & Concierge partners and working to address/resolve concerns directly.
3. Driving Service Capacity & Innovation:
+ Evaluate retailer service capacity needs and collaborate on action plans to improve throughput through initiatives like Mobile Service, optimized scheduling processes, effective shop management, and identifying needs for additional service bays.
+ Support technician growth initiatives throughout your zone by working collaboratively with facing Technician Placement Specialists.
+ Oversee the implementation and effective usage of retailer Remote Experiences (PDL, MS) as key ownership benefits, consulting on process improvements to maximize throughput.
+ Promote Lincoln Way app usage and support retailer messaging efforts to drive client adoption and engagement with connected-car/mobility initiatives (App Downloads, Embedded Modem Activations, Vehicle Service Leads).
4. Ownership Program Implementation & Support:
+ Execute key initiatives and assignments, ensuring 100% completion before deadlines.
+ Monitor Warranty performance (Warranty Measurement, Warranty Counseling Process, Warranty Labor Rate programs) and Lincoln Loyalty program spending within your territory.
+ Represent Ford Motor Company in key policy meetings with Retailer Principals.
+ Collaborate with involved parties to consult and communicate information regarding the Warranty Counseling Process and in-store Lincoln Loyalty processes.
+ Assist retailers with reducing Vehicle Off Road (VOR) days by facilitating parts procurement to resolve client concerns and ensuring escalation processes are followed.
+ Train Retailer personnel on the effective use of client handling-related data management systems.
+ Support Reacquired Vehicle (RAV) handling processes involving retailers, Clients, and Concierge Partners, as needed.
+ Participate in and support Lincoln Roundtable Meetings and the successful execution of Tier III Lincoln Ownership advertising plans.
+ Review retailer issues regarding emerging product concerns and program issues (processing of awards, reporting concerns and deviations, etc).
**You'll have...**
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ 3+ years of experience working directly with or for automotive dealerships/retailers.
+ 3+ years of experience executing strategies that directly impact and improve retailer performance (e.g., sales growth, service efficiency, client satisfaction).
+ This is a hybrid position covering the specified East Market territory. Significant overnight travel (typically 3+ days per week) is required to effectively manage retailer relationships and support initiatives throughout South NJ, Philly, West PA, Baltimore, and North VA. Candidates should reside within or in close proximity to this territory.
